I do not recommend this establishment due to an unpleasant experience during an internship.

I worked as a nursing assistant at the Nazareth nursing home in Troyes. My approach consisted of accompanying residents with music appropriate to their age and culture to stimulate their memory and well-being. The residents greatly appreciated this attention, which brought back fond memories, but this initiative was neither understood nor supported by my colleagues nor management. The work environment was often marked by gossip and unprofessional discussions. Some colleagues seemed to feel they "couldn't trust me," particularly because I didn't share meals with them. As a reminder, as a 12-hour staff member, my breaks are intended for me to rest and check in on my loved ones. These breaks are a legal right and essential for the well-being and safety of staff, and it is not normal for management to criticize their use or impose mandatory attendance at these times. Furthermore, my break times weren't always respected: the time slots were never clearly explained, and sometimes after only 20 minutes of a scheduled 30, the manager came to remind me to return to work. Even under these conditions, I respected my remaining rest time, as is normal and legal. Finally, the absences I had were always justified, despite what management said. I noticed that gossip and personal judgments seemed to carry more weight than the residents' feedback. The resulting final report was long and incoherent, even though my work with the residents was always accurate and attentive. Ironically, a healthcare facility whose mission is to care for residents sometimes seems to forget that the health, respect, and well-being of its staff are just as essential. Better communication, listening, and recognition of staff work would benefit the work environment and the quality of care.

Mom was at the Forêt d'Othe. A wonderful and dedicated team who provided fantastic support right to the end with great professionalism. Thank you, ladies!

Lack of professionalism among healthcare staff and poor administrative support from managers who do not know how to do their job.

From the photos, we can't even see the interior, nor the bedrooms, the dining room, the reception, etc. It's strange, is it hiding something?
