Hello, I just spent a month in this facility. On the first day, I wanted to leave: no air conditioning, no internet, and only digital terrestrial television. Paying €3.10 a day to watch commercials? No thanks. What made me stay was the kindness of the nursing staff. Later, I realized not only their kindness, but also their competence, availability, and attentiveness. However, one drawback: at mealtimes, depending on the cook, you'll have trouble identifying the dish, but it will be easier to identify the cook. How can K.... make an inedible meal when the others manage perfectly well?
June 2025 Update:
Still understaffed.
Dad still hasn't had his physical therapy sessions.
Still no Wi-Fi (it's shameful in this kind of facility!).
Communication between departments remains just as complicated.
However, the staff (housekeeping, kitchen, cleaning, hospitality, nursing, etc.) remain very friendly.
The cleanliness is good too.
The meals are good (despite the restrictions).
July 2024 Update:
The place is still clean.
Staff are disappearing, to the detriment of the residents; there aren't enough of them to take proper care of them, and of course, no new hires!
Dietary restrictions!
Supposedly one shower per week (I'd guess more like 10-15 days).
You really need to take better care of your remaining employees so that our parents can live with dignity (they are still human beings like you). Message from July 2023:
Very clean place.
Pleasant, colorful living spaces.
Numerous activities.
The staff (all included: care assistants, activity leaders, kitchen staff, housekeeping, nurses, etc.), at least those at La Grande Bleue, are incredibly friendly.
They take very good care of my father, despite a glaring lack of staff (very often 2 for 30 residents, sometimes even just 1 care assistant).
However, the administration is a complete disaster!
Communication is nonexistent.

After suffering a stroke, my father was transferred to this facility for rehabilitation. He stayed there for a month, a very long month because he received no physiotherapy, which is absurd after a stroke. The physiotherapist was completely incompetent. In short, a real death trap, avoid it at all costs!

The potential staff shortage doesn't excuse everything... they're very good at neglecting the residents and also very quick and efficient at demanding exorbitant fees. A disgrace, avoid at all costs!

Very ugly on Sunday. It was my 93-year-old mother trying to pick up a patient. Where were the employees? We couldn't leave. No code, awful.
