Imagine, a 14-year-old boy bitten by a viper, and to top it off, the boy had heart surgery at birth. They made me wait with him for over six hours, gave me nothing but paracetamol, no follow-up, no venom vaccination, his arm tripled in size, but for them it was "normal," applied an alcohol bandage and nothing else, and sent us home.
In the end, they forced them to take us back the next day because his arm was still swelling, and they wouldn't even see us. We went to the Chataigneraie clinic in Clermont-Ferrand. The doctors there were outraged by the incompetence of their colleagues in Thiers, because my little brother should have been kept under close observation for two days due to his potassium level, which could have led to cardiac arrest. Luckily, the Chataigneraie clinic is competent.
A disgrace to the French state, whatever you do, don't go to the ER there.
They left my 50-year-old mother with terminally ill patients at the end of the corridor for a month with metastatic lung cancer. They left her to fend for herself when it came to showering, they let her go downstairs to smoke, she fell and broke her coccyx and shoulder, so they sent her to Clermont even though I had been requesting a transfer since she arrived.
It took them days to do any tests; I had to scramble to find an oncologist and get her transferred to Clermont just to see a professional.
Despite my questions, I received no information whatsoever, only vague answers.
It's like being at KFC; the staff talk loudly about their personal lives, call out to each other (for nothing professional) across the corridors, the rooms are dirty, the furniture is ancient, there isn't even a wheelchair available, I had to steal one from a corridor. Hiding it in the bedroom, peeling paint, dirty hallways—even the toilets at the Jaude shopping center are cleaner.
Oh, and you'll need to donate a kidney to speak to a doctor.
In short, she collapsed, the illness worsened, and within two months my mother passed away. And then came the suffering caused by the negligence of these people who probably only got a 10 out of 20 on their diplomas. My mother leaves behind four daughters, one of whom is 10 years old.
Shame on this country and these hospitals, which are profiting from the pharmaceutical industry. One day you will answer for your actions; that's a promise. You've picked the wrong people.
Sincerely,
C

This maternity ward is a nightmare to avoid. The staff are noisy, laughing loudly in the hallways at night, constantly running the water, banging dishes at 4 a.m., and talking loudly about their lives without any regard for the babies present, so silence is essential. And the pediatrician doesn't understand. You can't rest here; you're better off at home, which is why everyone wants to go home! When you complain about the noise, they tell you they were overloaded... of course, they talked about sautéed potatoes, the neighbor's cat, and taking coffee breaks... In short, I'm extremely disappointed with the service. Avoid this ward at all costs!
A disgrace! The nurses are nice, but Dr. Thibault Clarisse is absolutely unpleasant, condescending, and practically turns away a patient who needed care! He said, "Just because you live nearby doesn't mean you have to come here."
This man shouldn't be a doctor! Hence the one and only star!

I met Dr. Idiri Nesrine - gynecologist - wonderful, attentive, takes her time to explain, very good advice. She is very delicate and respectful of your private parts during examinations. She is a young woman but with a lot of experience. Ladies, I recommend her to you. My husband was not far from me, she reassured him. He appreciated this doctor.
