My father has stayed at this post-acute and rehabilitation facility several times. Having been able to compare it with other facilities in the Paris region, I can say that it's one of the best we've ever experienced. The facility is reputable and far from the "death traps" that one unfortunately encounters elsewhere. The medical team is dedicated: some doctors and caregivers are excellent, others less so, but overall, the care is of high quality. Visits are easy to arrange, and the staff is welcoming. As in many post-acute and rehabilitation facilities, there is a perceived lack of staff, which sometimes complicates things, but despite this difficult context, my father has always received good care.

La Martinière welcomed one of our elderly relatives for five months of post-operative rehabilitation. Week after week, we can attest to the quality of care, the attentiveness, kindness, and availability of the staff. The doctor, for example, took all the time necessary to meet with us and always provided clear answers to our questions and those of the patient. This stay followed a period in another rehabilitation facility in the area, which was so inadequate in every respect that we made the decision to remove our relative, whose life was at risk, as quickly as possible. We were thus able to appreciate the difference and confirm that La Martinière is a trustworthy place of care, which we highly recommend.

After spending nearly three weeks in post-operative care, the Martinière facility offers everything necessary for recovery. Post-operative care is meticulously provided by excellent doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. Their availability, kindness, and empathy are invaluable to patients in a vulnerable state. The cleanliness is maintained to an exceptional standard (individual rooms and common areas are cleaned daily). Psychological support is offered, as well as rehabilitation programs led by a team of physiotherapists. Although the kitchen is currently being renovated, the meals are generally hearty and delicious. Dietitians visit patients to tailor their meals to their specific medical conditions, adding ingredients or replacing certain foods that are unsuitable for them. The catering staff are readily available and exceptionally kind. This staff plays a crucial role in ensuring that the meals served to patients and visitors meet nutritional and hygiene standards. I therefore highly recommend this establishment, whose staff allows patients to relax and recover fully from their various ailments. Furthermore, its ideal location in a park makes it perfect for walks in the adjacent small forest on sunny days. I was delighted with my stay and I warmly thank La Martinière and all its staff.
