EHPAD Laurent Valzer à MONTFERRAND LE CHATEAU

The staff isn't always competent or caring. They don't encourage the residents; on the contrary, they lose their independence and are quickly put on pureed food. It's faster to get them to eat, but the pureed food isn't appetizing at all. Everything is mixed together. My mother died following a fall; I won't tell you the circumstances. My opinion is therefore negative.

Even though the director and staff are friendly and the setting is green, the rooms are unbearably hot and there are many occasional or recurring problems that mean that our elderly people who are losing their independence too often find themselves in uncomfortable situations, not to say mistreated. I gave it a second star because it is one of the least bad nursing homes in the region. How can we make things happen to restore dignity to those who raised us???

Located in a small, green, wooded park, with two ponies and two or three horses regularly nearby. Attentive management and helpful staff. Decent rooms. A host who loves her job. This summer, a bike ride for two was organized... worth repeating. The place is nice, I recommend it, but personally, I'm not in a hurry to book! 😉
