Our mother was temporarily admitted to this facility, and we would like to thank all the staff, both medical and non-medical, including the healthcare assistants, Nathalie, Pauline, the medical secretary, the head nurse, the cook, and the maintenance worker, for their kindness, empathy, and professionalism, not forgetting the director. Mother left in excellent health, and this is thanks to you. Sincerely,
The Pargaud Family

I would like to emphasize the professionalism, kindness, and quality of care provided to residents every day, as well as the rigorous hygiene standards and the quality of the meals.
Of course, everything isn't always perfect. But the management and supervisory team is doing everything possible to support the staff in a process of continuous improvement, while respecting the human values that guide us.
We also need feedback from families and residents, which is essential to help us evolve, adjust our practices, and continue to make Le Havre des Jonchets a warm, safe, and caring place to live.

From December 2024 to May 2025 inclusive, my still-young (61 years old) husband, a scholar with a sharp mind, but suffering from a neurodegenerative disease, received excellent care and support from a high-quality multidisciplinary team. The complexity of his care had deterred many other facilities.
The facility had a poor reputation, but with the arrival of a new director in mid-September, working alongside the head nurse, we were able to observe their work and dedication, and the very positive results of their commitment.
This duo, with their humanist values and impeccable ethics, are committed to the well-being and comfort of the residents, as well as their staff. They have restructured the facility's operations with a pragmatic approach, while ensuring staff burnout. They also possess excellent listening skills and are proactive in addressing any issues that are not being addressed (simply mention them). As a nurse myself (with the demands of my professional ethics), I've observed their competence in running this facility, even while facing recruitment challenges (when a nurse is absent, they cover that position in addition to their own).
Whether you're looking to entrust them with a loved one's care or to practice your profession as a caregiver (nursing assistant or registered nurse), it's time to change your perspective on this institution! At four months from retirement, it's too late for me, but for caregivers who want to invest in their profession, contribute to the smooth running of their facility, provide quality care, and advance their careers (particularly through the possibility of obtaining nursing training or becoming an advanced practice nurse), don't hesitate: the facility is recruiting and offers opportunities. The director is a former nurse and care manager from several hospital departments, and therefore highly competent to consider our loved one holistically, rather than simply acting as an administrator. This is a significant advantage, as is the team she forms with her head nurse.

It's been 15 days since my mother's air mattress was changed. The first mattress is still on the floor. I've asked several people when it will be removed, but nothing has changed; it hasn't moved at all today. There aren't enough staff, which means my mother has to stay in bed even though she likes it when I take her to activities. The staff is almost entirely made up of temporary workers, and there aren't many of them, but at least they're there. Anyway...
