My grandmother was placed in this nursing home in a protected unit. She was very well supported, with staff always active, an end-of-life doctor on site and attentive, as well as the psychologist. The experience was short-lived but very good support. I cannot judge the other services in the establishment.

One star because we have to give one. The staff is unpleasant and doesn't even know the basics of politeness. Some don't even bother to hide or be discreet in front of families, preferring to sprawl in front of the TV or make personal phone calls. Don't even bother looking at the hygiene of the premises or the residents. It's a real death trap, a dark, gloomy place with supports that have been in place for years, and almost no activities for the residents... avoid at all costs 👎

Everyone has their own reasons... Now it's my turn to share my experience, which spans 13 years minus one month: In September 2007, my mother was admitted to the Les Patios d'Angennes nursing home in Rambouillet, against her wishes; we were forced to move her closer to home. She adapted immediately, felt safe, and lived there until August 2020. During those 13 years, I visited my mother two to three times a week. I always had excellent relationships with all the staff working at the facility, regardless of their position. Regarding resident care, I never had any complaints; the caregivers, volunteers, and activity coordinators are very attentive to the residents, despite the occasional workload issues due to absenteeism. During these staffing problems, housekeeping isn't a priority; the residents' well-being comes first. Regarding COVID-19, they managed it very well and limited the damage, unlike some other nursing homes. They implemented measures to prevent the isolation of elderly residents and to encourage contact, particularly through video calls with their families. The negative point, in my opinion, is the lack of green space around this nursing home, a problem exacerbated by renovation work that is only just beginning. Text written in good faith. My mother was placed in this retirement home because I thought it was good because it depends on the Rambouillet hospital. Unfortunately, it is a real death trap. Above all, do not put your parents or members of your family in this establishment. Despite the fact that it is public, it is very expensive for almost no service. The residents are not washed, the cleaning is not done and they have very little to eat. The staff is on break at all hours of the day, apart from 1 or 2 brave women who do what they can. Abuse???? Once in the retirement home, you no longer have any power to change the situation and if you make waves, you are insulted. My mother finally died and no one came to see us when we collected her things, no mail or call to offer their condolences. Lamentable...
