EHPAD Noël Sarrola à SARROLA CARCOPINO

Thank you for taking such good care of our families! And the place is beautiful.

My experience at this nursing home was very turbulent. The staff showed very little empathy and didn't respect the patients' needs, instead trying to force them to comply despite their tears and verbal refusals. I'm referring more to the facilities than the staff, who come from the mainland. There's little thought given to genuine teamwork. Residents, who are kept locked up for their safety, are never allowed outside with an escort. The director was excellent but has since left; the rest reflects the deep-seated mentality of the caregivers at Sarrola Carpopino.

Perched on the cliffs above the Mezzana Valley in the village of Sarrola-Carcopino, the Noel Sarrola nursing home is one of the most beautiful assisted living facilities on the island of Corsica. Since my mother-in-law lives there and my husband and I visit often, I can see that the doctors, caregivers, management, and other staff take conscientious care of the residents and seem genuinely concerned about their well-being. Activities like arts and crafts keep the residents engaged and foster a sense of community. This assisted living facility has lovely outdoor spaces where residents can enjoy magnificent mountain views from the long valley benches. They could hire more staff to get urine-soaked laundry bins to the laundry room immediately instead of having to wait for hours while residents and visitors smell the stench of soiled bedding. Perched on cliffs high above the Valley of Mezzana in the village of Sarrola-Carcopino, the EHPAD Noel Sarrola is one of the nicest assisted living facilities on the island of Corsica. Since my mother in law lives there and my husband and I visit often, I can see that the doctors, aides, management and other employees take conscious care of the residents, and seem to care about their well being. The activities such as "arts and crafts" keep residents engaged in an atmosphere of community. This assisted living facility has lovely outdoor areas where residents can enjoy wonderful views of the mountains across long valley from benches. They could hire more staff to get bins of urine-soaked linens down to the laundry room immediately instead of sitting for hours where residents and visitors smell dirty bedding.
