EHPAD Villa la Providence à EVREUX

Following a fall in the middle of the night and living alone at home, my mother became fully aware of the gravity of the situation and its consequences. This alarm, which could have taken a completely different turn, is final! During her hospitalization and at her request, my mother asked me to find a nursing home to accommodate her. After evaluating four nursing homes, I placed my full trust in the Villa la Providence in Evreux (27). A resident since April 8, I am still amazed. Visually and hearing impaired, with multiple medical conditions, my mother shines like never before, smiling, communicative, calm, and at peace. She participates in numerous activities that allow her to maintain or increase certain motor and cognitive functions in a particularly well-kept environment with multiple interactions for the comfort and safety of all. Supported by the medical team, staff, and volunteers, the quality of life improves daily, hence its surprising adaptability. As for me, I find a certain emotional freedom that alleviates guilt, feelings of abandonment, and helplessness. Not all facilities are the same, but I can say that under the management and staff present at the time, I recommend Villa la Providence in Evreux without hesitation for all the benefits it offers its residents. My grandmother has lived there since 2022, the staff are great and caring (much less the management), unfortunately too few staff within a protected unit, my grandmother has fallen there several times and she is not the only one... she is unfortunately reaching the end of her life with Alzheimer's disease, no longer eats, hardly drinks any more, she needs nap care but the management does not seem to care too much...

A welcoming care home with a wonderful atmosphere: activities are numerous and varied, the staff form a close-knit and caring team, and management is attentive to both employees and residents and their families. All this in a pleasant living environment conducive to well-being.

My sister has been living at Villa la Providence since January 2024, in the Protected Unit. I am delighted to have found this facility, situated in a green and welcoming environment, and impeccably clean. The nursing staff are friendly, competent, and caring.
