Consultation with a dermatologist whose remarks were deeply shocking and unacceptable.
During the appointment, this doctor made clearly homophobic and stigmatizing comments, equating our sexual orientation with sexually transmitted diseases, using phrases like, "You're gay, so you must have HIV or syphilis."
These statements are false, discriminatory, and humiliating. Our blood tests are negative for all diseases, which makes these remarks all the more unjustified.
In 2026, it is unacceptable that a healthcare professional still reasons with prejudices from another century.
Sexual orientation is neither a diagnosis nor an automatic cause of illness.
Medicine is based on science, listening, and respecting patients. This was a case of moral judgment and stigmatization, not a medical act worthy of the name.
It is concerning that a hospital would allow a doctor to practice who makes this type of statement, especially given that complaints have already been filed.
This kind of behavior undermines patient trust and can discourage some people from seeking treatment, with serious consequences.
In 2026, a doctor provides care, informs, and respects. They do not stigmatize or persecute.
I sincerely hope that this opinion will be taken into account so that such remarks are not repeated.

I arrived at the hospital at 3:30 a.m. on the night of Tuesday, February 11, 2026, and a nurse there treated me like dirt. I couldn't even walk; I was extremely ill. The emergency room was empty; I was the only one there. The area was deserted, and the nurse told me, "It's daytime; I'm sending you to your primary care physician."
Even though I was so unwell, I still drove to the hospital, and I even ripped off my entire bumper. I'm usually a very good driver. That just shows how bad I was and how much I pushed myself to get there.
When I arrived, I was asleep on the floor; I couldn't even sit down in a chair. On top of that, she kept huffing and puffing, she was disgusted, she just wanted to get rid of me. Also, her blood oxygen meter wasn't working, so she kept tilting it from side to side. And I was so sick, I could hear everything that was going on around me, I really couldn't believe it. She's an inhumane person.
And I felt like I was dying. I've never been so sick in my entire life.
There's no justification for violence, but I understand that some people lose patience. If you don't prioritize the nursing profession over the paycheck, there's no point in doing this job.
It's a shame I don't know her first or last name. Otherwise, I would have reported her to her superiors. On the other hand, the doctor was incredibly kind to me; he did everything he could.
Visited Friday, February 6, 2026, at 9:30 AM. Don't go to the emergency room; the security guard will tell you to park elsewhere, even though everyone usually parks there. I saw this again when I left my appointment.
See photo below.
Being too ill to walk, and pregnant to boot, I had to park in Place du Breuille, to give you an idea of the distance. Frankly, this security guard, compared to the others, has absolutely no human decency.
Go to the university hospital in the north instead; they are welcoming and humane. Both the security guards and the nurses are there.
