A first experience and a very pleasant surprise, whether it was the location, the staff, or the meal itself. Simple and delicious cuisine made with quality ingredients. A reasonably priced menu at €21 for starter, main course, and dessert. If you're passing through Prades or Villefranche-de-Conflent, travel a few extra kilometers for some very good cuisine.

The location is well worth the effort; the road is easily accessible, and the parking lot is conveniently located just above the castle for tourists wishing to explore this magnificent site. The cuisine is traditional and refined. The set menu is comprehensive and enticing, making you want to try everything. The €19 set menu, which we highly recommend, is exceptional. Under the covered terrace, you can enjoy the view and the refreshing breeze. The welcome is warm, and the staff is very dedicated. The simplicity and ambiance of the place are truly delightful in this castle. Open year-round, with lunch service only during the off-season, reservations are advisable. Beautiful Chateau, the fountain by Sculptor Bernard Bailleux is magnificent. The surrounding areas are perfect for hiking. Perfection for those who enjoy solitude and nature.
