Résidence Korian Les Mélèzes à BAR LE DUC

As a resident, I have a more objective and realistic opinion compared to families who have a limited focus on reality. The establishment, built in the 1960s, does not meet current standards: bathroom, shower, toilet, non-existent insulation, etc. Roof leaks when it rains, a problem not resolved for several years. Clear improvement in terms of meals, dedicated and caring care teams, excessive workload, understaffed, resulting in many resignations, replaced by unqualified staff.

Very happy with this establishment where my uncle Claude has been staying for almost 2 years. Dedicated and pleasant staff.

My 96-year-old mother has been a resident at Les Mélézes for six years; I visit her several times a week, which allows me to attest that the staff is competent, dedicated, and often very empathetic. As a resident for 5 years, I have always had good contact with the staff of the establishment, I have always been kept informed of the patient's health, the room is always clean, the meals are of good quality, and there are many activities offered. I recommend this establishment.

With two family members residing at this facility, I am able to offer an objective opinion. What is Les Mélèzes like? "Les Mélèzes is a nursing home with: - residents who live peacefully, - available staff (and I won't list all the different professions for fear of forgetting someone) who enjoy their work, - pleasant and clean premises, - a pleasant setting with well-maintained grounds, - activities that allow our seniors to spend their days without the burden of loneliness." In short, this nursing home is a wonderful place to live… and I wholeheartedly give it 5 stars!
