DANGER ⚠️ It's absolutely not my habit to post Google reviews, but I absolutely want to warn others about the danger of this facility. A word of advice: if you hear that a loved one is hospitalized in this geriatric center, get them while you still can. My 91-year-old grandfather was transferred from the Aix Hospital emergency room to this center on Friday, August 29, 2025. No one called me or kept me informed during those three days, despite my requests. Yet I am designated as his only trusted person. Just the next day, my grandfather, who is in his right mind, began to become delirious. When I spoke to him on the phone, he told me he was left alone, that no doctor had come to see him, and his words were incoherent (he told me about the place where he worked when he was young; he thought he was locked in a room). There are no other words: This facility DRUGS PATIENTS SO IT DOESN'T HAVE TO TREAT THEM. At 91 years old, administering such treatment to someone who neither needs nor is used to it can be irreversible. I discharged him from this center on Monday, September 1, 2025. Imagine my shock when I read the medical summary: "Mr. … did not wish to remain hospitalized in the ward, despite my repeated explanations about his repeated falls, which had led to several visits to the Emergency Room. He is therefore returning home today, without having been able to benefit from rehabilitation care. The falls assessment was also not performed." Doctor, why weren't this treatment and assessment performed upon his arrival, or in the days following his hospitalization? You left him alone for three days without his usual treatment and gave him some kind of unnecessary medication that was making him lose his mind. Today, Sunday, September 7, 2025, my grandfather is at home, receiving his treatment, and everything is going well. My aunt entered this center, was abandoned there, and never left. There was no way this would happen again to my grandfather. There is a Public Health Code, and especially a Code of Medical Ethics, which condemn your shameful practices.

My dad was hospitalized for over two months at the Roger Duquesne Center. The nursing staff is very kind and caring. They call patients by name. His room on the third floor was spacious and bright. The park below allowed him to enjoy the greenery and take walks there. Thank you to all the nursing staff, the social worker, and the psychologist at the center. 🙏

My mother, Mrs. Flutte, was cared for with the utmost kindness and professionalism by a team dedicated to her well-being. She is returning home with a touch of nostalgia at leaving such a pleasant and respectful environment. Attentive and available at reception, kind treatment, and empathy are evident in the teamwork at Roger Duquesne, a team effort undertaken with pleasure for the benefit of all patients. The facility is clean and always pristine, both inside and out. A huge thank you because, at your facility, a resident is not just a room number! Congratulations on your daily work.

Mom passed away this morning. The entire team at Duquenes was wonderful. Since she arrived a year and a half ago, there wasn't a single misstep. Kindness, respectful empathy, good humor, efficiency... The list goes on. Our gratitude is immense.
