USLD Saint-Stanislas à NANCY

My mother-in-law stayed there for 8 months. The room had outdated wallpaper... but we were allowed to decorate it as we wished. The nursing staff were empathetic, funny, competent, and pleasant. The girls on the day shift were full of joie de vivre, which they shared with the residents. Lots of activities and a lovely garden make it a friendly retirement home. 😍 I recommend it.

Visited in 2025 for a relative's admission: a warm welcome in a constantly evolving environment, thanks to a dedicated receptionist! The human warmth and responsiveness in processing files create an atmosphere that won us over and led us to choose this facility. The care teams are shared across several sites, and the medical team is attentive and responsive to the residents' health. The workload of the staff, spread across three floors, can sometimes explain the weariness, or even the lack of personal warmth, which is compensated for by visits from the chaplain (regular services), the civic service volunteers, the volunteers in their pink coats, or the charming hair salon with its kind and pretty hairdresser, as well as occasional activities (individual or group). A reception area that fulfills its essential role as a point of contact, fostering connections through numerous initiatives to brighten the daily lives of residents and their families with small gestures and modern, targeted communication: table decorations for every celebration at the facility, informative and cheerful posters for events, and a lively and engaging brochure presenting the long-term care unit. I am not a resident, so I am far from experiencing the full range of daily life there. However, when I arrive, I feel welcomed and at peace. I am grateful to Ms. Regnier for this welcoming space (the ground floor reception area) which transports me to a cozy, slower atmosphere, anticipating my reunion with my loved one. GRATITUDE to the soul of this place!

This is an extension of the hospital for people who still need medical supervision. Very pleasant staff.

Good store, even if a little small, so the selection is limited. But the welcome is good, the sales assistants offer good advice, and you can find good value for money there.

Not much to say, the place is already outdated and not very welcoming, with a lack of activities for our elderly, so I'm not exactly thrilled 😞
