EHPAD La Bastide du Moulin Senium à AURIBEAU SUR SIAGNE

My mother moved to La Bastide in October 2024. At the time, one of her sisters and I had visited about ten similar facilities. From our very first visit to La Bastide, we both had a very positive impression. The atmosphere, the warm welcome from the staff, the family-like ambiance… We truly felt like we were entering a home filled with kindness. The philosophy of the place, the genuine commitment of the management, the positive energy, the smiles—everything radiated a joy of life. We were right to follow our intuition. Since her arrival, the care my mother has received has been simply exceptional. It may not be the most luxurious facility, but it is undoubtedly the most attentive and compassionate we have ever visited. Every member of staff knows my mother, understands her, and takes the time to adapt to her personality and needs. Nothing is ever a problem. (Including arranging a flower delivery on Mother's Day Sunday—living abroad, I had completely forgotten—I called reception that very day, just in case, without much hope, and an hour later I received a photo of my mother beaming with a beautiful bouquet in her arms!!!). She even had the opportunity to participate in a week-long trip to Tunisia, which she absolutely loved. The organization was remarkable, with great attention to detail: the residents themselves contributed to financing the trip through fundraising activities. They stayed in a magnificent place, ate well, and participated in numerous activities—all for a modest financial contribution, thanks to the funds raised beforehand. What La Bastide offers far exceeds my expectations. It gives me great peace of mind, especially since I live abroad and cannot visit my mother as often as I would like. I can't thank the entire La Bastide team enough for their dedication and kindness. I highly recommend this establishment.

My mother has had several short stays at La Bastide Du Moulin, and I am very satisfied with the quality of care and attention she receives. From the nursing assistants and nurses to the ward staff, everyone is competent and caring. The staff and management are very attentive to the residents' well-being. A few days ago, my mother was staying at La Bastide Du Moulin when she had a health problem. The nursing staff acted very quickly and professionally, which allowed for prompt treatment in the emergency room. I would not hesitate to place my mother there again for a stay, as I have complete confidence in this facility. And I wanted to thank all the staff for their dedication and the warmth they provide, both to my mother and to us, her family.

We had the opportunity to work at this nursing home for several years, and my family and I were fully satisfied with the quality of care and the attention given to my grandmother. The competent and caring team of nursing assistants provided impeccable service and created a warm and secure environment. However, the situation has deteriorated significantly in recent months. The pressure placed on the teams has led to a wave of resignations among nursing assistants, which is particularly regrettable. These departures have not been offset by adequate recruitment, leaving the facility understaffed. This decline in staffing has a direct impact on the quality of care and support provided to residents. Unfortunately, the service no longer meets expectations. It is with regret that I share this opinion, in the hope that these concerns will be addressed and that significant improvements will be made quickly, both for residents and staff.

We entrusted our mother to this facility two months ago. Our choice fell on this establishment very quickly because the welcome we received was exceptional. We were distraught and very sad to make this incredibly difficult decision. Thanks to the director's warm welcome, who knew how to reassure us and find the right words to help us let go, we are now very satisfied with the care our mother is receiving. All the medical and support staff are kind and attentive, and we regularly receive updates on her progress, which is very reassuring. We made the right choice in selecting this facility, and we sincerely thank them for their professionalism at every level. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to future families looking for a suitable care home.

A wonderful place where you immediately feel at home; this summer my father was able to enjoy a trip to the beach almost every week. The activities coordinator offers fascinating talks, and there are regular parties. La Bastide du Moulin deserves to be better known; my father is happy there, well cared for, and well fed (kudos to the chef for his homemade pastries—and to hell with the extra pounds!). He has also made some great friends through the gardening activities. A heartfelt thank you to the staff who do such a fantastic job.
