A visit to this magnificent residence.
A very warm welcome, a fantastic activities coordinator, flawless organization,
staff very attentive to the well-being of the residents, and an absolutely incredible atmosphere. Very professional. A very pleasant memory. See you soon, Jack SEIG
Lazy, noisy, and vulgar staff; residents who never go to the park. That's what I think of this place. I'll go back to back up my claims by making a video that I'll post on YouTube. A word to the wise...
I have been a volunteer masseuse in this EPHAD for several months now, I have met a large number of residents there. I offered to come and offer massage times twice a month and the facilitator was very responsive, the project was able to be quickly set up. The residents feel good there, the house is well maintained whether it is the common areas or the rooms, the staff is attentive, smiling and loving. I have shared wonderful moments there, many activities are set up to make this house live in joy. The garden is perfectly maintained and welcoming, the presence of animals is also very appreciated by everyone ☺️. It is not easy to get old, to be sometimes confronted with loneliness, illness whether psychological or physical, and everything is done for the well-being and health of the residents. I thank the Maison du Lac for its trust as well as all the residents for these invaluable moments around well-being, exchanges, meetings, discussions. I am very happy to offer my time and admire the work, the involvement, the kindness, and the love that you have for all the residents. Thank you all, whatever your position, for everything you do.
A place to AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
My grandmother was at this facility until recently.
Our elderly residents are literally mistreated.
First of all, there are absolutely no activities offered.
The residents spend their days sitting on chairs or lying in their beds.
Some are soiled with their own urine and aren't even changed immediately.
It's a disgrace.
The only positive point is the improvement in the meals offered; thank you to the cooks.
Not recommended!!!
I'm a caregiver for a woman who goes to this nursing home one day a week, and we pick her up in the evening in an unacceptable state, completely soiled, even in her wheelchair, with skin reactions from the bottom of her breasts to her feet due to poor hygiene. This woman's bag still contains the pads provided for the nursing home, so we can see that no diapers have been changed all day. This is called abuse, and I imagine it can't just happen to one woman in this home. I strongly recommend that you pay close attention to the care provided to your loved ones in this facility, and that you encourage them to speak out about what they go through every day, or even remove them from the facility.
