Honestly, I've never seen staff so abusive towards residents and replacements, almost retired themselves, and attacking 20-year-olds who come to help and start their careers. I've truly never seen such bitter women.
The establishment is a beautiful, well-built, and pleasant place to stay.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional.
Thank you to them for their kindness.
In early July 2022, we were able to share a meal with our dear friend, which was nice in itself. The meal was the same as his, except that his dishes must have been pureed.
I was very saddened for our friend by the poor quality of the ingredients and the lack of balance.
Starter: charcuterie, tasteless sausage, and ham that made me feel nauseous.
Main course: black pudding that had some flavor, but was twice the size it was supposed to be, and edible but bland mashed potatoes.
Cheese with no taste whatsoever.
Dessert: "rum baba" without rum and far too sweet.
No vegetables, no fruit, too much low-cost protein, and unhealthy sugar.
If I were a resident of this facility, it's obvious I would only eat 30% of the meals, which was the case for us. What a waste.
The effect of this meal is profoundly detrimental to morale; we truly felt it.
And for someone who is largely paralyzed, a good meal is perhaps one of the last pleasures they can experience.
The staff told us they didn't eat the same thing, but that a dietician checked the composition of the meals. The dietician and the facility managers would need to eat these meals every day to understand.
Please, eliminate all the low-cost ingredients and switch to vegetables, fruits, and proteins of normal quality, even if it means reducing the portions slightly.
Given the facility's rates, this doesn't seem impossible.
We felt this meal was a form of mistreatment; it's very distressing.
I hope this message will get some feedback. Thank you.
And I will be happy to raise my rating for your establishment…
PS: It was hot this summer, including in the garden.
There must be a way, without spending too much, to improve the shade in this garden with two or three well-chosen plants and a better pruning of the roses on the pergola.

In these difficult times for nursing homes, given the release of a book exposing the practices of certain publicly listed companies, I wanted to share my experience of the quality of the facility and the humanity of the vast majority of caregivers. My mother lived there for several years in a secure unit due to her condition, and she was well treated. Her children, who visited regularly and unexpectedly, could see that she was washed, dressed, and well fed.
It is difficult and guilt-inducing to leave your parents in a nursing home, but at no time did I fear for her safety or well-being.
Even if everything is not ideal and does not replace being welcomed into one's own family, the staff did their utmost with the resources they were given.
I would like to express my admiration for their kindness and compassion, even in the last moments of my mother's life in May 2020, and for supporting me during these difficult times.
An excellent facility that allowed my 91-year-old husband to spend his final days in peace, surrounded by constant care and kindness. With limited resources that fall short of what is needed, all the staff do their best to listen to their residents and their families! They treat the residents as genuine partners, not as individuals with disabilities.
