Small structure where the staff is professional. They all do their best for their residents. Listening to families.

Adios.. I hope that grannies and grandpas will be happier elsewhere. The ARS should look more often into the EPAHD and specialized reception centers for people with disabilities.

Don't bother bringing your parents, brothers, or sisters to this facility. Mistreatment of residents is commonplace but never reported to management, and if it is, it's never addressed promptly. For the well-being of those nearing the end of their lives, I wish them something other than this place as their final or penultimate residence. Residents often complain about shouting coming from the kitchen, supposedly from a cook who, according to management, "doesn't exist," and who hurls insults and other vulgarities all day long without any apparent problem. Not to mention certain residents who are NEVER allowed to get up, and whose efforts to prevent bedsores are completely ignored by some of the caregivers. The food is awful. Unwilling to put in any effort, the kitchen staff very rarely offered proper minced meat to residents who needed it. The only thing the "pureed" residents ate was leftovers from the "regular" meals, which were pureed and then served up haphazardly! There was absolutely no effort made to present the food, whether it was for the regular, minced, or pureed residents. The only times management came down to talk to the residents were to put on a good show and impress a new recruit, and even then, the general humiliation of everyone at the table began! Avoid this place, for the sake of your families. 👍

Although my mother only lived in this retirement home for a week, I sincerely thank the Director, Ms. Amandine Durantin, as well as the administrative assistant and all the nursing staff who supported her with great empathy at the end of her life. The entire family is grateful to you.

A small, welcoming and warm structure with a family atmosphere. The staff is attentive to residents and their families. We sincerely thank the Résidences du Castel for the attention they have given to our mother since her arrival in October 2020.
