EHPAD Le Home Médocain à ARSAC

My grandfather stayed at the Colisée nursing home in Arsac for three months. Initially, he was in a regular room at night, but spent his days in the secure unit, as he suffered from Alzheimer's disease. During this time, he sometimes didn't get washed or shaved. Once he was permanently moved to the secure unit, everything changed: he was always clean, well-shaven, and truly well cared for. The staff in this unit are wonderful, especially the team working with the caregiver Chantal (I'm sorry I can't remember the names of the other two). Thank you to the three of you for your kindness, your smiles, and your gentleness, both towards us and towards my grandfather. You were there for us during a very difficult time, and for that, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to thank the night caregiver, who took wonderful care of him. However, I would like to highlight a negative point regarding the caregiver, Stella: I found her to be remarkably lacking in empathy and kindness. She simply dropped off the products for our oral care without ever demonstrating how to use them or offering any assistance. Her often closed-off and unsmiling demeanor was difficult to endure, especially during such a sensitive time. Nevertheless, we cherish fond memories of our grandfather thanks to the majority of the staff, and we remain grateful for the work, patience, and kindness you all demonstrated.

My father spent a short 15-day stay at Home Medocain. After an operation, he needed to recover, and this place was recommended to us. No regrets whatsoever. All the staff were incredibly attentive. I thank them all for their kindness, both towards my father and towards us, his family. The place is bright, the garden is beautiful, and the activities coordinator and chef are fantastic. Everyone was exceptionally attentive. It's wonderful to see that such kindness still exists. Thank you so much for my father.

Our two-year experience at the Colisée Arsac has been more than rewarding, thanks to the highly competent staff, the comfortable rooms, the large garden for walks, and its ever-cheerful and compassionate host, Maelys. We highly recommend this nursing home.

Mom stayed at the "home médocain" for 2 years. She has just left the establishment to be reunited with her family. I give a very positive opinion because the staff, whoever they were, were always attentive, kind and caring on a daily basis. I highly and sincerely recommend the "home médocain". I must thank all the staff who cared for my mother with such dedication, compassion, and kindness. The nursing staff are attentive and responsive. The activities coordinator is full of energy and always has excellent ideas, all delivered with joy and good humor. There's a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cook goes above and beyond to prepare delicious, balanced meals. This is a nursing home where it's good to spend one's final days peacefully when family can no longer care for them. I highly recommend it, despite the cost.
