While the care my mother received from the nursing and support staff was adequate, the same cannot be said of the doctor's performance! She displayed a controlling and inflexible attitude towards me following my mother's death on April 9th, exceeding her authority. At the time of enrollment at this facility, as her daughter and legal guardian, I signed a protocol designating the person responsible for notifying me in the event of my mother's death. With considerable arrogance, citing her status as a doctor, she arbitrarily decided to act without my consent. I notified the administration of Saint-Rémy: To this day, I am still awaiting any response or even a word of condolence! There is a complete lack of respect for families at this facility.
