A very old and unwelcoming place

This independent living facility for elderly but independent residents is a model of its kind. Acquired at the time by the Town Hall (with the aim of controlling comfort, safety, and affordability), it benefits from personalized support for residents, both in terms of meals (by a regularly challenged caterer) and the safety and comfort of the elderly and their families during their stay. This residence is also open to families and the public for intergenerational gatherings, with a monthly table d'hôte for a convivial lunch.

A wonderful place that welcomes independent seniors, couples, young people—in short, a true mix of people who interact daily. The staff are present and efficient. My mother has lived there for a few years now, and everything is going perfectly! She's independent, goes about her business as she sees fit, participates in the activities offered when she wants, and is a member of the association. A superb, perfectly managed place.

It also serves as a place to stay for the elderly in the town of Coignières, an idea the Town Hall had when purchasing this facility to keep the monthly prices of small apartments under control. Events are frequently scheduled and are well attended. Paid dinners are organized for residents and Friends of our town, at reasonable prices; the connection between the elderly and residents is thus greatly appreciated. Raffles, fairs, and celebrations bring together residents, friends, and families, each time a resounding success. The CCAS (Community and Social Action Center) has an office here and is therefore at the heart of its activities. There are many other details that highlight this residence, but it would take too long to detail here, so I encourage you to try, even just for a visit.
