Having undergone emergency surgery for a fractured ankle, I can only emphasize the kindness, availability, competence, and compassion of all the staff without exception: the emergency room staff (receptionist, nurses, and emergency physician), the surgical nurses and nursing assistants, and the operating room team (nurses, anesthesiologist, and surgeon). Everyone was fantastic, and all with genuine good humor, even though I had them come in on a Sunday morning. My surgery went very well, and I went home that evening without any pain. A huge thank you for everything!

This hospital is a complete disaster! A family member who was hospitalized was assaulted by another patient, and they did absolutely nothing! Unstable patients wander around the hospital, and not a single nurse or caregiver does anything about it! They told us outright that they couldn't guarantee the safety of our hospitalized loved one and that it could happen again, and then, well, too bad 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you want proper care or even just the safety of your loved ones, go somewhere else!

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Lorena, an exceptional employee in the maternity ward of the hospital. She was incredibly kind, caring, and helpful from the beginning to the end of my care. Always attentive, reassuring, and professional! Her humanity, compassion, and dedication to care truly made a difference. A huge thank you to Lorena for her commitment and impeccable support. People like her truly honor the hospital environment. Thank you to all the nurses in the maternity ward as well, who were incredible!

Haut Bugey Hospital Center - Oyonnax University Hospital (CHU) This is a large hospital with an MRI scanner, a maternity ward, an emergency department, a medical center, and all the other usual hospital services. The wait in the emergency room used to be interminable, but following an internal reorganization, there has been a marked improvement. Instead of the usual 10 to 12 hours of waiting, now your turn arrives after an average of 4 hours. This is obviously partly due to the fact that less urgent cases are automatically directed to the medical center to relieve pressure on the emergency department.
