The hospital is getting worse and worse due to staff shortages. A lazy blonde at the first reception desk was very unpleasant, while a brunette at the third station was very friendly. I waited four and a half hours for a severe ear infection and a urinary tract infection. I left because they left me alone without any updates, even though there was no one else in the waiting room ahead of me. This is unacceptable, especially since the pain was very intense and kept me awake at night (I had taken sick leave the day before and couldn't see my doctor on the day of my appointment because her office was closed). I am extremely disappointed. I had to take a day off work because they didn't see me, even though I was in pain and deserved to be on sick leave for that day.

Arriving by ambulance in an emergency, I complained of vomiting and nausea for a week (I was six weeks pregnant). They didn't do any tests; no blood pressure check, no blood test, absolutely nothing. I waited an hour in my room, which was relatively quick considering it was early in the morning, and the doctor came to see me and said, and I quote, "People come to the ER for nothing. You should see your GP. You're young and this is your first child; it's perfectly normal to have nausea in early pregnancy." Having no strength to fight back, I accepted my fate and left with a feeling of guilt. Without mentioning that I was seen again in the waiting room, I waited for my husband for several hours, sitting in distress, when what I really needed was to be in bed. Three weeks later, I found myself in the maternity ward emergency room in Épinal. I was immediately admitted for severe dehydration and malnutrition. Diagnosis in 2 hours: hyperemesis gravidarum. For three weeks, I hadn't dared ask for help after that disastrous consultation in Vittel. After being hospitalized, I'm better, but I'm still deeply affected by this experience and I absolutely do not recommend this emergency department. I had been warned about its ineffectiveness, and now it's been proven. Run away! There are good hospitals nearby!

Honestly, some nurses should change careers if they don't like what they do... I've been twice, once for a child and once for an adult, but we always feel like we're bothering the woman, and she makes that very clear... I don't recommend it, especially because of the reception.

I was taken to the Vittel emergency room today. I wanted to thank the two nurses and the male nurse for their gentleness, calm, kindness, and caring. They listened to me and showed exemplary professionalism. I would like to thank the doctor who also took care of me there with just as much kindness. All I have to do now is recover in peace.

I was taken care of yesterday in the emergency room. The team was caring and the nurses were pleasant. The doctor (Dr. Noirel) was competent, caring and attentive, and non-judgmental. He immediately took the necessary steps to relieve my pain and offer me a treatment plan adapted to my health problem.
