Bad experience as a nursing assistant in this facility. At first, it was fairly okay despite the heavy workload and the lack of recognition, but after the Regional Health Agency (ARS) inspection, things changed... and for good reason. The staff is exhausted, facing a facility that can't find any solutions to ensure a non-mistreatment-friendly work environment.
It's always easier to get the job done while crossing your fingers or walking the halls, even though these are healthcare professionals.
Many inconsistencies. And no understanding.
I hope they manage to do something serious about it in the future.
It's truly disheartening.
Glad to have found a better fit today.
A word to the wise.
I agree with some of the reviews (which were deleted along with mine). It's fine at first, but not so great later on (once you're less independent, you have to go every day). Laundry disappears even though it's noted, and the laundry staff couldn't care less. They promise to look for it and call us back, but nothing ever happens.
The instructions aren't followed despite being stated or written down. As for food, she wouldn't eat anything because she didn't like it. There are a lot of thefts because the rooms are left open despite being told to close them; dentures, nail polish, and perfumes disappear.
When my grandmother passed away, it was urgent for them to free up the room that same day. The funeral home was under pressure to move her immediately (we didn't have time to process her death), so we had to say goodbye just a few hours later, with very little time, and in a room that was being used as a medical equipment storage unit, which wasn't hers (shameful). In short, there was absolutely no compassion, a total lack of respect for my grandmother and the family. No one came to see us, even though she had been there for years. We encountered substitutes in management and in the office! On a personal level, it was a disaster. Not a word, nothing. We were completely ignored. They were inhumane, with no words for the family. They had already removed some of our belongings, putting them in a storage area and breaking some furniture. They took it upon themselves to remove everything from the room without contacting us or obtaining our consent (even though we returned two days after the death to retrieve his things, as it was urgent for them that we vacate the room). Knowing that we were still paying for his room at that time and were grieving, we were treated like strangers. They refused to take clothes that could have been used by other residents in need, even though most of the time clothes disappear. (Their behavior is incomprehensible.)
A catastrophic and traumatic end for us. Especially since when residents are dependent and confined to wheelchairs, they are left to their own devices in a large room with the TV blaring. I am truly very disappointed.
Thankfully, the secretary is truly wonderful and compassionate; she was the only one who was lovely during this ordeal. It was a welcome change from her replacement who was there when my grandmother passed away—an incompetent, heartless, and uncompassionate woman who even took my grandmother's dresser out of the room while we were still paying (not even two days after her death). The nurses, on the other hand, are good and kind.
I remain very disappointed with how things ended.

The staff were excellent, very helpful, and always in good spirits. The food was very good. The building is old, but the upstairs rooms lack air conditioning. The residents were too hot. The location is quiet and surrounded by trees.
