EHPAD de Serrières à SERRIERES

Excellent service at all levels: staff, environment, team. After an internship, I had the honor of working with a competent and very personable team. During my internship, I saw improvements in several areas. I highly recommend this service.

We absolutely must mention the post-acute and rehabilitation care unit in Serrières. Patient care is handled with great professionalism (including a focus on efficiency – yes, the two are compatible) and a very strong human touch (listening, open communication, and finding solutions to help patients maintain social connections). The nursing and support team is fantastic; my father was hospitalized there after fracturing his femur. Bravo to everyone, thank you to the head nurse, Mr. Noël, the doctor, the physiotherapist, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting. Best of luck to the unit.

A friend came to visit her grandfather at this facility. As she was leaving, an elderly resident approached her, asking for water, as there were no staff members available to attend to her. During the entire 45-minute visit, no caregiver intervened. According to the elderly resident, she hadn't seen anyone for over an hour. Faced with this situation, my friend had to go downstairs herself to find staff. She finally found them all gathered around a table, chatting and enjoying themselves. It's regrettable that this kind of attention isn't given to the residents, who simply ask for care and consideration. I understand that this job is difficult and that breaks are perfectly normal. However, leaving an elderly person to ask for water for over an hour is absolutely unacceptable. This account leaves a strong impression of incompetence and a lack of humanity within this institution. In my humble opinion, stricter oversight would be beneficial. I hope things improve in the near future.

An institution to be avoided at all costs. Nothing positive. Rules more suited to a prison environment. Deplorable reception, quality of care needs to be reviewed. Having been to many hospitals, I've never seen anything like this. A blatant lack of humanity and psychology. It's time to take action.
