My mother was placed in various nursing homes due to her Alzheimer's, and it was at the Bariol nursing home that she finally found the peace she needed for a serene and comfortable end of life. Of course, as with any healthcare system, there are shortcomings. The staff does their best with limited resources (a responsibility of our government). My wife and I encountered great compassion and attentive listening from the teams, who did the best they could with the resources available to them. It's difficult to place and let go of one's parents; it requires a lot of soul-searching for many of us. Please be understanding of the pressure the staff is under; I felt my mother was so much better, and I thank the staff again for their support.

Overwhelmed staff without empathy, residents are not considered very bad experience for my mother-in-law

A more than questionable method for maintaining a contract! We used the cooling-off period to reunite our relative with their family, but everything is done to ensure this right is violated. A complete blockade was put in place for even a simple telephone contact with the resident, moral pressure on the family, calls, emails, and contact with other members of the family to invent a non-existent danger... a psychological catastrophe for the children and grandchildren of the family. In 10 days, they returned our relative to us in a catastrophic state, and what's more, they didn't return his papers under the pretext that the office was closed. We will file a complaint against this establishment.

Difficult environment with his mistreated staff fired for bad reasons I am very disappointed

The place is clean and well-maintained. The medical staff are caring, compassionate, and warm. They offer activities every morning and afternoon, such as concerts, bingo, and singing.
